Christie Chaplin-Saunders

Christie Chaplin-Saunders is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and of Sheridan College School of Craft and Design. She works with her assistants in the beautiful seaside village of Chester, Nova Scotia.

She loves places that offer simple, sensual pleasures and foster meditation, so sea side walks and visits to forested areas are the source of her inspiration. Christie's functional clay sculpture celebrates the intrigue and beauty of enduring ancient  life forms from nature. Her pieces are not only decorative but also functional and can be used as tableware as well as display pieces to enhance your table.
